We are sure Adam is going to be the new American Idol. An a SNARKY one at that! Talented and dramatic is Adam. Imagine our surprise when Adam picked us as his first friend in Blog Catalog! YES! He knows who loves him.

David Cook's Heartbreaking Return to Performing

David Cook started singing a slow song, stopped and turned away from the audience.
"It's gonna be tough for me," the Idol champ told the crowd of 450 at the Musica theater in Akron, Ohio, on Friday night. "Hold on. I'm sorry. Do you mind if I sing a different song?"
Taking the beat up a notch, Cook then energized the crowd, who passed up flowers and cards and held up signs in honor of his brother, Adam, who died May 2 at age 37 of cancer.
It was a night of emotional extremes for Cook, 26, now back on tour after Adam's death. Speaking of his brother throughout the night, he struggled through some songs – even walking out in the middle of one of them – but exhibited swagger on others.

I just got a message from David Cook's site
David's brother Adam passed away just hours after we had just see David play at Palm Beach Sunfest
He finished the concert and rushed back on a jet to get to Indiana. We had no idea until we received the email today.
Oh it's Really sad....

AMERICAN IDOL: ADAM LAMBERT
OMG! did you guys see AI tonight? They were all just fantastic! But Adam Lambert just killed. For once I loved the music/song styles and the arrangements were great on all of the performances.
But gotta say ADAM all the way. He has it all wrapped up.
